Multiple Injuries Sustained in Head-On Crash on Cohasset Road in Chico

 
CHICO, CA (September 13, 2021) – Paramedics sent a woman to the hospital following a head-on crash on Cohasset Road on September 8.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Boeing Avenue shortly after 8:00 AM.
 
Based on reports, a white Subaru was traveling southbound on Cohasset at the time of the crash. Then, it swerved over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic due to steering problems. Subsequently, it hit a blue Nissan Pathfinder head-on.
 
As a result, the 61-year-old female driver of the blue Nissan sustained a broken bone on her lower leg and required surgery on her left arm. Paramedics transported her to the Enloe Medical Center for treatment.
 
The driver of the white Subaru and a passenger suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.
 
At this point, the Chico Police is still investigating this head-on crash on Cohasset Road.
