Woman Dies after Struck by SUV on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 30, 2023) – A woman was hit and killed on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley late Tuesday afternoon on November 28.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:30 p.m. just east of Iroquois Road and Burger King. Apple Valley sheriff’s deputies said the woman was walking south across Bear Valley Road when she was struck by a white 2016 Chevrolet Traverse.
 
Apple Valley Fire personnel responded and found the woman suffering from major injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of that vehicle was uninjured and remained at the scene to speak with authorities.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office is working to identify the woman.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
