Two Vehicles Collide on North Sunflower Avenue in Charter Oak Killing At Least One Person

 
CHARTER OAK, CA (November 30, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at North Sunflower Avenue and East Badillo Street in Charter Oak on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:03 p.m. on November 29. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Mercedes Benz sedan and a Ford Fusion collided for unknown reasons.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded and found several people trapped in their vehicles.
 
One person was unresponsive and despite life-saving measures, that person died at the scene.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
No other information available at this time. The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
