Woman Fatally Hit by Car on Mountain House Private Driveway

 
TRACY, CA (November 21, 2023) — A woman was hit and killed by a car on a private driveway in the Mountain House community of Tracy.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a 47-year-old man pulled out of a private driveway and struck the 41-year-old woman walking behind the SUV. Subsequently, the driver continued reversing and struck an unoccupied residence across the street.
 
Moments later, authorities responded to find the SUV at a stop in the home’s garage.
 
Due to the crash, the victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not release her name.
