SAN DIEGO, CA (October 25, 2021) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on 805 Freeway on October 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the Market Street exit around 4:00 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, a white Toyota Corolla was in the carpool lane of the freeway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the car struck a pedestrian.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. As of now, officials have not yet released the identity of the victim.
 
Also, the collision forced the closure of two lanes of the freeway.
 
At this point, the CHP is continuing to investigate this fatal pedestrian accident on 805 Freeway. In addition, no other details are available.
