Woman Dies in Porterville Car Crash with Semi-Truck on Highway 65

 
PORTERVILLE, CA (November 22, 2021) — A woman died in a car accident with a semi-truck on Highway 65 near Avenue 12, Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened just south of Avenue 12. For unknown reasons, a 2006 Ford heading northbound on the highway struck the front of an oncoming semi-truck.
 
Due to the fact that the semi-truck hit the right side of the Ford, the passenger of the Ford vehicle died from her injuries. Meanwhile, paramedics brought the Ford driver to Kern Regional Center with major injuries.
