Banning Train Accident on San Gorgonio Avenue Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition

 
BANNING, CA (November 22, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered critical injuries in a train accident on San Gorgonio Avenue in Banning, Thursday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:11 p.m. on November 18, near John Street. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the pedestrian was either walking or standing on railroad tracks when the train struck them.
 
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from significant injuries. They rushed the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At this time, the Banning Police Department is still investigating the cause of the crash.
