WHEATLAND, CA (November 22, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 65 on November 20.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Bear River Bridge around 5:30 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, a car collided with the motorcycle. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately clear.
 
As a result, one died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
In addition, the fatal accident closed the highway.
 
As of now, officials have not yet released the details on what caused the crash. A Cal Trans camera showed thick fog in the area.
