Car Crashes Down Embankment on West Wentworth Street in Shadow Hills Sending Two People to Hospital

 
SHADOW HILLS, CA (August 31, 2023) – A woman and her 9-year-old daughter were injured in a car accident on West Wentworth Street in the Shadow Hills area on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a vehicle crashed about 40 feet down an embankment in the 10300 block of West Wentworth Street shortly before 8 a.m.
 
Firefighters responded and took the mother and her child to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
