49-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by One or More Vehicles in Downtown LA

 
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, CA (November 11, 2023) – William Connelly was killed in a pedestrian accident in downtown Los Angeles Wednesday morning on November 8.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:20 a.m. on southbound 101 Freeway near 110 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, Connelly was walking in the area when he was struck by one or more vehicles.
 
Connelly suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 49 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
Two southbound freeway lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of Connelly’s death.
