William Blackburn Hurt, Alfred Rissitto Cited in DUI Pedestrian Crash on Highway 49 near Flume Street

 
SAN JUAN, CA (May 23, 2021)William Blackburn suffered minor injuries in a DUI pedestrian accident on Highway 49 near Flume Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened in a 25 miles per hour stretch of the road. Under unknown conditions, 49-year-old Alfred Rissitto struck 71-year-old Blackburn. Following the accident, paramedics responded and airlifted him to a hospital for treatment.
 
Shortly after, officers cited Rissitto, of Nevada City, for a misdemeanor DUI. He also had been traveling the speed limit at the time of the accident.
 
At this time, the crash remains under investigation. Although, those with information should call the CHP.
