Man Dies in Fresno Pedestrian Crash on Jensen Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (May 23, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Jensen Avenue near Maple Avenue Thursday night.
 
According to news reports, a woman informed officers that she had struck a man lying on the road while traveling on Jensen Avenue.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a hospital where he died. His identity and residence remain uncertain, but reports described him as a victim in his 40s.
 
Following the crash, the woman stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. At this time, authorities have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the crash and have ruled out DUI. However, anyone with information should contact the Fresno Police Department.
