Utility Vehicle Overturns on Hedgepath Road in Rancho Calaveras Injuring One Little Girl

 
RANCHO CALAVERAS, CA (February 21, 2023) – Two young girls were involved in a utility vehicle accident on Hedgepeth Road in Rancho Calaveras Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened on February 15, just north of Highway 26. Calaveras Consolidated Firefighters responded and found the UTV had rolled onto its left side with with two young girls inside. One of the girls sustained an arm injury.
 
Paramedics took the injured girl to an area hospital for proper treatment.
 
Both girls were wearing their seat belts.
 
The CHP is still investigating what caused the crash and factors involved.
