Truck Crashes into Tree on Bucks Bar Road in El Dorado County Badly Injuring the Driver and Passenger

 
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (February 10, 2023) – Two people were seriously injured in a truck accident on Bucks Bar Road in El Dorado County Sunday night on February 5.
 
The accident happened around 6:20 p.m. near Pleasant Valley Road. According to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District, truck had crashed into a large oak tree in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding firefighters found the driver and passenger trapped inside the truck. They used Jaws-of-Life tools to rescue the two patients.
 
According to the fire district, the brunt of the crash was taken by the driver’s door, causing the truck to wrap around the tree.
 
The crash left both the driver and passenger with severe injuries, the fire district said. Paramedics took both to hospitals in unknown conditions.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
