Multi-Vehicle Accident on North Grand Avenue in West Covina Leaves 2 Dead, DUI Driver Arrested

 
WEST COVINA, CA (December 3, 2022) – Two people died in a multi-vehicle accident at North Grand Avenue and East Toni Drive in West Covina on Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on December 3. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a speeding Acura collided into a pair of parked vehicles.
 
A 30-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased victim was not yet identified.
 
Firefighters and paramedics rushed three other people to a hospital, where one of them also died.
 
The other two, one of whom was the driver, are in unknown condition, though the driver was placed under arrest at the hospital on suspicion of DUI, according to the CHP.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
