Fiery Accident on 210 Freeway in San Bernardino Kills Driver and Passenger

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 22, 2022) – Two people died in a fiery accident on 210 Freeway in San Bernardino early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:20 a.m. on February 19, just west of Del Rosa Avenue near East Twin Creek Wash. According to the CHP, a red sedan was traveling eastbound at an unknown speed when it veered off the freeway and hit a guardrail. It then plunged into a concrete wash channel and burst into flames.
 
After firefighters extinguished the flames, they located the female driver and a female passenger dead inside the burnt car.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division withheld the identities of the victims pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
