Big Rig and Sedan Collide on Kamm Avenue in Caruthers Killing 2 People

 
CARUTHERS, CA (November 15, 2022) – Two people were killed in a big rig accident at Kamm Avenue and Jameson Avenue on Monday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 7:00 a.m. on November 14. According to the California Highway Patrol, the big rig driver was headed north on Jameson Avenue when he failed to stop for a posted sign and ran into a Toyota Camry.
 
As a result, the driver of the Camry died at the scene.

Two men in the big rig were not wearing seat belts and were ejected. One of them also died at the scene.

An air ambulance took the other person to a hospital in serious condition.

AN investigation into this crash is ongoing.
