Hit-and-Run MTA Bus Crash on South Atlantic Avenue in East Compton

 
EAST COMPTON, CA (May 12, 2021) – At least two people were injured Sunday morning after a hit-and-run crash at South Atlantic Avenue and East Myrrh Street.
 
The accident happened around 8:55 a.m. on May 9. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a vehicle struck an MTA bus and fled the scene.
 
Paramedics responded and rushed at least two people from the MTA bus to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Authorities had no description of the suspect vehicle and there was no other immediate information at this time.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
