Head-On Crash on Cathedral Oaks Boulevard in Goleta Leaves 2 Drivers Injured

 
GOLETA, CA (January 17, 2024) – Two people were injured in a head-on accident on Cathedral Oaks Boulevard in Goleta Saturday morning on January 13.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Jeep Cherokee and a Dodge pickup truck collided head-on in 6600 block of Cathedral Oaks Boulevard around 10:44 a.m.
 
Responding firefighters extricated the driver of the Jeep who suffered major injuries. They transported them to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge pickup truck had minor injuries.
 
Firefighters temporarily closed between Los Carneros and Glen Annie Road while they cleared the wreckage.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
