Fiery Crash on Green Tree Boulevard in Victorville Leaves Two People Injured

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (January 22, 2024) – Two people were injured in a fiery accident on Green Tree Boulevard in Victorville Saturday night on January 20.
 
The accident happened around 6:53 p.m. near the intersection with Arrowhead Drive. According to the Victorville Police Department, a white sedan collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons. The impact caused the sedan to burst into flames.
 
Victorville City Fire crews responded along with two AMR ambulances. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
 
Paramedics transported two people to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
A traffic signal light struck by the sedan was destroyed and toppled to the ground.
 
A stretch of Green Tree Boulevard was closed in both directions for approximately an hour as firefighters worked to make sure the fire was completely out and the vehicles were towed away.
 
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
