Car Crashes into Home on Windjammer Drive in Moreno Valley Injuring Two People

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 1, 2023) – Two people were injured in a car accident at Windjammer Drive and Kitching Street in Moreno Valley early Friday morning.
 
The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on April 28. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle was traveling southbound on Kitching when it lost control for unknown reasons. It then veered to the east, across northbound lanes and struck a single-story residence.
 
The driver of the vehicle and a resident were injured in the crash. Both were taken to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment.
 
Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be factors in the crash. There was also no evidence of reckless driving. An investigation is ongoing.
