POMONA, CA (April 13, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries in a car accident on San Antonio Avenue, Wednesday April 7.
 
According to the Pomona Police Department, the incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle became involved in a crash near Franklin Avenue.
 
The impact of the crash trapped the driver and ejected the passenger from the vehicle.
 
As per reports, the Los Angeles County Fire Department extricated the driver within 10 minutes. Then, paramedics transported the driver and the passenger to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
Pomona police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
