Two Injured after Vehicle Crashes into Parked Sacramento Police Department Investigation Car

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 12, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Del Paso Boulevard, Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident happened on December 7, at about 2:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle crashed into a parked SPD crime scene investigation car near the 2600 block of Del Paso Boulevard.
 
Then, the vehicle hit a pedestrian.
 
Emergency crews transported the pedestrian and the driver to trauma facilities for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As per reports, no Sacramento police personnel sustained injuries in the crash.
 
Sacramento police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
