Fiery High-Speed Crash on Ramona Avenue in Chino Sends Two Drivers to Hospital

 
CHINO, CA (July 2, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized after a high-speed crash at Ramona Avenue and Riverside Drive in Chino early Thursday morning.
 
The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on June 29. According to the Chino Police Department, a speeding vehicle ran a red light when it crashed into another vehicle. The impact caused one of the vehicles to burst into flames.
 
The driver was still seated in the car that was on fire when officers arrived. They then managed to pull that individual out of the vehicle.
 
Paramedics transported both drivers to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Both are expected to survive.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
