VALLEY SPRINGS, CA (January 31, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized in a car accident on Highway 26 in Valley Springs early Friday morning on January 27.
 
The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. near Double Springs Road. According to the Calaveras Consolidated Fire, an unknown vehicle had crashed into a tree along the highway.
