CHP Motorcyclist Suffers Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on Coffee Road in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 31, 2023) – A CHP officer was injured in a motorcycle accident at Coffee Road and Rosedale Highway in northwest Bakersfield on Friday, January 27.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the officer was riding east through a green light when a driver who was proceeding through a stoplight at the intersection hit him.
 
Paramedics took the officer to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries. The officer was listed in a stable condition Friday.
 
Meanwhile, The other driver was unharmed and cooperated with police.
 
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. BPD asked that anyone with further information to call them at 661-327-7111.
