Multi-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway in Hesperia Leaves 2 People in Critical Condition

 
HESPERIA, CA (January 5, 2023) – Two people were in critical condition after a multi-vehicle accident on the 15 freeway in Hesperia on Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:03 p.m. on December 30, just south of Main Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided along the southbound freeway for unknown reasons.
 
San Bernardino County Fire responded and located a light-colored sedan that completely went over the concrete barriers, also called a K-rail, into the construction zone, a black sedan that went partially over the center divider, with two of its wheels on top of the K-rail, and a Toyota Tundra in the center divider with front-end damage.
 
A ground ambulance took two people to a hospital in critical condition.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
