Two Vehicles Involved in Lancaster Car Crash on 160th Street

 
LANCASTER, CA (June 16, 2021) – Two people are now in critical condition following a fiery two-vehicle crash on 160th Street on June 11.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Avenue D around 5:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. Subsequently, the crash sparked a large brush fire in the area. The Los Angeles County Fire Department estimated the blaze to be about 673 acres.
 
As a result, two people suffered critical injuries in the incident. Los Angeles city firefighters also responded to the scene, and an L.A. County sheriff’s helicopter airlifted the patients to a hospital.
 
Later on, the sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau released photos that showed the damaged cars.
 
The cause of the crash was not immediately known. At this point, this crash on 160th Street is still under investigation.
