Accident on Santo Road in Tierransanta Badly Hurts 2 People

 
TIERRANSANTA, CA (May 16, 2022) – Two people were badly injured in an accident on Santo Road in the Tierransanta area on Monday morning, May 9.
 
The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m. at Tierrasanta Boulevard, just east of 15 Freeway and south of Highway 52. According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue, at least two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
The impact resulted in scattered wreckage onto the street. As a result, at least one of the vehicles with visible damage to its front end, windshield and both the driver’s side and passenger’s side doors.
 
Both drivers suffered major injuries and were taken to an area hospital, one of them was in critical condition.
 
The cause and factors involved in the crash remain under investigation.
