Trisha Bachman Involved in Deadly 2-Car Crash on Highway 156 near Monterey Street

 
HOLLISTER, CA (January 17, 2023) — Trisha Bachman was involved in a fatal two-car accident on Highway 156 near Monterey Street Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 6:57 a.m.
 
During wet road conditions, a 37-year-old woman operating a 2019 Honda Civic eastbound on the highway was traveling at an unsafe speed for the weather. Due to the rain, she lost control of her car and went from the No. 1 to the No. 2 lane before sliding into the shoulder. Subsequently, her 2019 Honda struck a guard rail, sending her to the eastbound lanes and into the path of a 2011 Honda Civic.
 
Both vehicles crashed and came to a rest in the eastbound lanes.
 
Soon after, a Good Samaritan stopped to help both women, one of whom suffered fatal injuries. Arriving authorities found the 2019 Honda driver deceased at the scene.
 
It’s unclear whether 53-year-old Trisha Bachman — the 2011 Honda driver — reported any injuries in the crash. More on this crash requires further investigation. Therefore, if anyone has more to add, please reach out to the CHP.
