Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 84 near Airway Boulevard in Livermore

 
LIVERMORE, CA (September 22, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in an accident on Highway 84 early Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Livermore Police Department, the incident happened on September 21 at about 5:30 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a car collided with a motorcycle near Airway Boulevard.
 
Emergency crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the car remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
Responders closed northbound Highway 84 and Isabel Avenue for several hours to make way for an investigation.
