Two-Vehicle Accident on El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego Sends 3 People to Hospital

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 28, 2021) – Three people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego Wednesday evening, May 26.
 
The crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. at the intersection with Fairmount Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused one car to overturn on its roof, while the other vehicle slid off to the side with severe damage to its front end.
 
Paramedics transported three people to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
The crash also caused power outage in the area.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing. The San Diego police are looking into the possibility that the crash is DUI-related.
