59-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (February 14, 2022) – Thomas Reese was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Moreno Valley, early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened just before 3:00 a.m. on February 12, on Sunnymead Boulevard east of Heacock Street. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Reese was crossing Sunnymead Boulevard when a westbound vehicle struck him.
 
After the crash, the involved driver fled the scene.
 
First responders found Reese lying unresponsive on the roadway. They attempted saving him, but he died at the scene.
 
Reese was a 59-year-old Moreno Valley resident, according to coroner’s officials.
 
At this time, authorities are still investigating the fatality. They urged anyone with information about the suspect to call Deputy Andrew Galbreath of the sheriff’s Moreno Valley station at 951-486-6700.
