Vehicle Hits Juvenile on Scooter on Willow Avenue in Clovis

 
CLOVIS, CA (March 5, 2024) – A teenager was hospitalized in a scooter accident on Willow Avenue in Clovis Tuesday afternoon on March 5.
 
The accident happened around 3:19 p.m. at the intersection with Sierra Avenue. According to the Clovis Police Department, the teen on the scooter was crossing Willow Avenue when a vehicle hit them.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the juvenile to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
 
There is no suspicion of DUI or drugs at this time. Further investigation is underway.
