Tashfeen Haq Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway [Victorville, CA]

Driver Dies after Crashing into Disabled Vehicle on 15 Freeway near Stoddard Wells Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 27, 2023) – Tashfeen U. Haq died in a two-vehicle accident in Victorville Sunday afternoon on August 20.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on southbound 15 Freeway, just north of Stoddard Wells Road. According to the CHP, Haq was driving a 2024 Porsche Cayenne when he allowed the SUV to travel at an unsafe high rate of speed in inclement weather conditions. He then lost control across the traffic lanes and struck the rear of a previously disabled Ford F-150.
 
As a result, Haq suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 43 years old of Riverside, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
 
The passenger in the SUV, a 32-year-old woman, sustained major injuries and was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
 
The driver of the Ford, a 34-year-old man, and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman, were both taken to Victor Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
 
Alcohol or drugs did not play a role in the crash, which is still under investigation.
