CHICO, CA (March 8, 2024) — Police are looking for several suspects involved in a hit-and-run car accident at 8th Street and Kern Street.
 
According to Chico police, the incident happened around 7:13 p.m. Wednesday when officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on a black Dodge Charger. Subsequently, the Dodge driver pulled over. However, when more officers arrived to provide cover, the driver fled.
 
Not long after, the vehicle reportedly crashed into a parked vehicle at 8th Street and Kern Street where the suspects fled from the crash.
