60-Year-Old Susan Chavez Hit, Killed by Car in Pacifica

 
PACIFICA, CA (October 5, 2022) – Authorities identified 60-year-old Susan Chavez of Pacifica as the victim killed in a pedestrian accident on Skyline Boulevard early Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Pacifica Police Department, the incident happened on October 4 at about 3:30 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit Chavez near Hickey Boulevard.
 
Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators. Authorities did not release the name of the driver.
 
Responders temporarily closed Skyline Boulevard between Hickey Boulevard and King Drive to make way for an investigation.
 
Pacifica police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
