Barbara Everest, Joe Everest Hospitalized after Rollover Hit-and-Run in Glenn County

 
GLENN COUNTY, CA (October 5, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Highway 99 West on Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on October 1 at about 6:00 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a 2007 Pontiac G5 slammed into the rear of a Toyota SUV.
 
The impact of the crash caused the Toyota to overturn.
 
Emergency crews transported two Toyota occupants, Barbara Everest and Joe Everest, to Enloe Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Pontiac did not stop to render aid. As per reports, the Pontiac did a U-turn and immediately left the area.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
