23-Year-Old Sterling Williamson Arrested after Crashing into Arcadia 7-Eleven

 
ARCADIA, CA (December 12, 2022) – Authorities identified 23-year-old Sterling Williamson of Monrovia as the driver arrested after crashing into a store, Thursday morning.
 
According to the Arcadia Fire Department, the incident happened on Thanksgiving day, November 24, at about 6:55 p.m. Williamson reportedly entered the 7-Eleven at 1003 South Baldwin Avenue and threw merchandise at employees.
 
Then, he got into his car and intentionally crashed into the store.
 
The suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot but was detained by employees and customers. Responding officers then arrested Williamson on suspicion of attempted murder.
 
Williamson was being held at the Inmate Reception Center in Los Angeles in lieu of $2 million bail.
