TRUCKEE, CA (April 16, 2021) — Stephen Lally was arrested in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Jibboom Street and I Street Bridge Wednesday night.
 
According to Truckee Police, the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, Stephen Andrew Lally struck a man with his red Subaru. The 32-year-old driver subsequently left the scene in his car. However, officers became successful in arresting him and booking him for DUI and hit-and-run.
 
Following the crash, paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a hospital with a severe head injury. At this time, the crash remains under investigation and the man remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
