One Person Dead in Oroville Car Crash on Lincoln Boulevard

 
OROVILLE, CA (April 16, 2021) — One person died in a car accident on Lincoln Boulevard near Helman Street Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 8:20 a.m. For unknown reasons, a blue Chevy Suburban, heading southbound on Lincoln Boulevard, was traveling at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, the SUV crashed into a rock, a power pole and a garage.
 
As a result, the driver sustained major injuries in the accident, and unfortunately, the passenger in the vehicle died.
