Driver Dies in Bonsall Accident With Big Rig on 15 Freeway

 
BONSALL, CA (April 16, 2021) — A driver died in a crash with a big rig on the 15 Freeway near Old Highway 395 Thursday morning.
 
According to witnesses, a 2021 Dodge Charger was heading southbound passing everyone on the freeway when it collided with the rear of a big rig. As a result of the impact, the Dodge wedged itself underneath the back of the rig.
 
Soon after, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office arrived at the scene around 9:30 a.m. after learning that the driver had died in the crash.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the accident. However, if anyone has more information, please contact the California Highway Patrol.
