Fatal Car Accident on 15 Freeway near Mile Marker 153

 
BARSTOW, CA (March 3, 2021) – A driver was killed in a car accident early Friday morning in Barstow, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The accident happened around 6:27 a.m., February 26 on 15 Freeway near mile marker 153.
 
CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they said emergency crews found the driver deceased inside his vehicle.
 
The coroner’s identified the victim as Siotame Manako, a 32-year-old resident of San Bernardino.
 
It is unknown at this time if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
 
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
