Jacob Murphy Killed in Car Accident on Rio Linda Boulevard [Del Paso Heights, CA]

Authorities Identify One of Two Killed in Del Paso Heights Head-On Crash

 
DEL PASO HEIGHTS, CA (March 3, 2021) – Authorities identified one of the two people who died in a head-on accident Friday night, February 19.
 
The accident happened in the area of Rio Linda Boulevard and South Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Jacob Murphy of Antelope was driving his vehicle when he collided head-on with another car.
 
As a result, Murphy and the other driver both suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Officials closed Rio Linda Boulevard near South Avenue as they worked on the crash site.
 
The circumstances of the collision were not immediately determined. Further investigation is underway.
