Shawn Patrick Brown Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 14 in Inyokern

 
INYOKERN, CA (April 28, 2021) – Police identified Shawn Brown as the victim who died in a crash on Highway 14 on April 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Highway 178 shortly after 7:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving his vehicle at an unknown rate of speed at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it collided with a semi-truck carrying a trailer.
 
As a result, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said Shawn Patrick Brown died in the incident. Officials identified him as a 52-year-old Palmdale resident.
 
At this point, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the collision. In addition, no other details are available.
