At Least 1 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Marconi Avenue in Arden-Arcade

 
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (February 9, 2024) — At least one person reported serious injuries in a high-speed multi-car accident on Marconi Avenue near Montclaire Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car accident happened around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a driver in a van was bearing down Marconi Avenue at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, the van struck a vehicle waiting at the center lane from pulling out of a driveway. Upon impact, the van struck another vehicle.
 
Moments later, paramedics arrived and took the seriously injured van driver and two others to a hospital for treatment. Police at the scene found the vehicles stopped near an apartment complex.
