Runaway Muni Bus Crash Ends in Injuries at Mission Street in Daly City

 
DALY CITY, CA (February 9, 2024) — At least one person was injured in a muni bus crash at Mission Street and Flournoy Street.
 
According to Daly City officials, the bus accident happened around 4:00 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, the Muni bus rolled from the top of a hill and struck a curb. Fortunately, no cars were hit during the incident, but several jostled bus passengers tried to leap from the moving carriage before the impact.
 
Following the accident, several people sought hospital care, including 14-year-old Nelson Ramirez, whose hand was reportedly bleeding. One other person suffered unknown injuries and sought hospital assistance.
 
At this time, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency is investigating the possible cause.
