Multi-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway near Bonsall Leaves Several injured

 
BONSALL, CA (May 16, 2022) – Seven people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Bonsall Saturday night on May 14.
 
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. near Gopher Canyon Road. According to California Highway Patrol, the crash involved multiple cars. When officers arrived, they found a total of seven injured patients.
 
Two of the victims did not require aid, but the other five were taken to local hospitals. Three of the five hospitalized victims are in critical condition, and the other two sustained moderate injuries.
 
Crews closed all freeway lanes for at least an hour while they cleared the wreckage.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still looking into the crash to determine the exact cause and factors involved.
