Saul Hernandez Dies After Car Slams Into Power Pole on Airport Boulevard near Tyler Street

 
THERMAL, CA (December 12, 2022) — Saul Hernandez died after his car crashed into a power pole on Airport Boulevard near Tyler Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car accident happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, Saul Hernandez Bautista veered to the right, off the roadway and struck a power pole. Since the 27-year-old man was not wearing a seatbelt, he was partially ejected from his Dodge Durango.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased. A 27-year-old female passenger was in the vehicle with him, and she sustained minor injuries in the accident.
 
At this time, authorities have not indicated the leading cause of the crash. Although, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
