Riley Froom Killed in Accident on Indiana Avenue near Monroe Street in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (November 19, 2021) – Police identified Riley Froom as the victim who died in an accident on Indiana Avenue on November 17.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Monroe Street around 5:50 PM.
 
Based on an initial report, the victim was attempting to cross the street prior to the accident. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him. Subsequently, the vehicle left the scene without rendering aid to the pedestrian.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. The Riverside County coroner’s office identified him as 67-year-old Riley Froom of Riverside. Paramedics transported him to Riverside Community Hospital, where he succumbed to severe injuries.
 
Witnesses told police that Froom was outside the crosswalk at the time of the collision.
